Good energy
To act against climate change, moderate energy consumption is one of the leading solutions. Accordingly, Hôtel L’Ormaie sets the temperature of its heating and air-conditioning systems between 19 and 24°C, thereby optimising energy efficiency.
Water
The right source
At Hôtel L’Ormaie, water is an element of choice, especially on account of the Passy reservoirs nearby, which throughout the 19th century supplied water to part of the capital. As a result, we pay particular attention to its preservation as well as its pureness. The bottled water served at Hôtel L’Ormaie is filtered tap water, from a nearby source. Our purified Paris tap water doesn’t need to be transported and no plastic is used. Furthermore, as washing linen generates non-negligible quantities of pollutants that are drained as waste water, l’Hôtel L’Ormaie suggests changing your bed linen only when you feel it’s necessary. It is an established fact that thousands of litres of water are saved annually in this way, thereby contributing to protecting an essential natural resource.

At Hôtel L’Ormaie, waste sorting bins are provided so as to make it easier to recycle, by separating organic waste, metal, paper, plastic and packaging.
